If you LOVE Italian Dressing but are looking to cut out the fat -- this stuff is 2 for 2! So good! One of my favorites! So good on any kind of salad - lettuce or pasta!!!
To me, the sage was overpowering so I didn't care for this one.
Hi Trudy, Patrick with California Balsamic here. We make all of our products as more of a concentrate, very thick and rich. To adjust the flavor and the sweetness of the balsamic down, we suggest adding a light splash of a more traditionally tart white vinegar alongside it in the dish. Should give you a close match for the flavor you want, and lets you dial it exactly to taste. Same works with our dark balsamic flavors, you can use them alongside either a more traditional dark balsamic or our Organic Dark balsamic to thin them down and increase the tartness while maintaining the flavor. :)
I enjoyed this on my salad but was really surprised at how sweet it is. I’m not used to sweet Italian dressings and was a little disappointed by its sweetness. How can I adjust this to make it more savory than sweet?
This is so delicious and full of flavor. I have used it on salads, baked potatoes, potato salad, in my vegan lasagna and anytime I need a pop of flavor.
