I use this to make my own BBQ sauce. Use equal amounts of tomato paste and Smoked Hickory Balsamic and stir. You can also substitute crushed tomatoes if the tomato paste is too intense for you. It tastes great and doesn't have all the preservatives in it. Plus you can add other spices that you like. It's one of my favorite balsamic vinegars.

I love to use the California Balsamic Smoked Hickory. It is delicious when added to water sauteed vegetables and then eaten over rice or in a lettuce wrap.
It’s so hard to select a favorite. They are all very flavorful and have a variety of uses from my salads to even plain brown rice, or topped on a huge mushroom before grilling. Yes, it’s great to drizzle on ice cream.
